When will trek be held?
June 18 - June 21, 2025
Who is attending trek?
All youth are invited to join the Elkhorn Springs Battalion for Trek 2025! (This includes the youth who will turn 12 years of age in 2025).
Any Youth that are Graduating 2025 are able to register for this event. Have them sign up as a youth. We will search by their birthday to sort them and make sure that they are placed into families or used in other support functions.
What will youth be doing?
Youth and leaders will reenact some of the faith-building experiences of the pioneers who journeyed to the Salt Lake Valley in the mid-1800s. Youth will be organized into groups called “families,” wear pioneer-era clothing, pull handcarts, and participate in pioneer activities (games, skills, muskets, archery, log splitting, dancing..), and devotionals! Total TREK walking distance is 10+ miles.
Where will be Trek be held?
Mile High Ranch in Cherry Valley, CA
What is the cost?
Cost will be dependent on final plans. Current costs are as follows
$100. Guests may attend after interviewing with the bishop of their host ward and paying the $100 fee. *No fees will be collected until April 2025. More details to follow.
